Sea Monsters of Buki

Mermites are known as Artemia Salina, living in salty lakes. Their eggs have been given an extraordinary ability by nature to dry out and survive in extreme conditions, waiting for exposure to water to hatch.
The package includes: packaging with eggs, packaging with food, a spoon, an aquarium, and a pipette. You will also need a bottle of water, which is not included with the product.
1) You need about 350ml of room temperature bottled water. Shake the water bottle and pour the water into the aquarium. Do not use tap water, distilled water, or sparkling water.
2) Empty the package with the eggs into the water and stir carefully to dissolve the protective salts.
3) Your future mermites are very sensitive to temperature during the first week. They need a stable temperature between 17-30 degrees (in a well-lit place). However, do not leave the aquarium in direct sunlight during summer, as it may overheat.
4) After 24 to 72 hours, small white specks will begin to swim. Through the aquarium wall magnifying glass, you can even see the babies hatching from the egg.
How to care for the mermites:
5) After 24 hours, you need to feed your mermites. Use the measuring spoon included in the package and open the food packaging.
One small spoonful of food is sufficient. Next, add food to the aquarium 2-3 days later.
6) Aerate the water in the aquarium every day with the pipette, allowing air bubbles to go into the water. Do not suck water into the pipette, as this may harm or kill your mermites.
7) Mermites love sunlight. They are more active in bright light and swim towards the light. Place the aquarium in a warm, well-lit area.
8) You may see sediment and dirt at the bottom of the aquarium. This is normal. Never change the water, as it may harm their ecosystem. If the water is dirty, stop feeding your mermites until the water is clear again.
